How to make a miniature sculpture

When you decide on what you are going to make, you have to decide how big of a miniature you want it to be. For example if you were making a fruit tart,you have to decide whether it is going to be a dollhouse miniature or a keychain etc. A lot of people make their miniatures in 1:12 scale, because those are the ones that are invented to be in a dollhouse. You don't want to give something a 5 inch miniature cake with their 1:12 other food creations, so always have that in mind! Before I make a sculpture I set up everything and then..... Sit there staring at the wall waiting for creativity to strike like lighting! So, basically let your imagination guide the way and you will never make a bad sculpture.:D
