Sandwich Earrings!- TUTORIAL

Well, I was looking through my collection of miniatures, and I noticed that a LOT of my techniques were outdated, so I made a list of things to remake using the techniques I've picked up over the last year. I LOVE sandwiches, so this was the first on the list!
SUPPLIES
1. Tan, white, translucent, green, pink, and orange clay
2. Yellow,brush,brown/black and orange chalk pastels
3. Assorted clay tools (blade, needle-tool, ball-ended tool)
4. Earring posts, super glue, and glaze
TUTORIAL
First, mix together the tan, white, and translucent clay (mix them thoroughly, I didn't and I regret that. So, heads up!). Next, make a loaf shape, and use the brush and yellow/orange pastels, to color the crust of the bread. Now, place it in the freezer, and now clean off your work place, so we can start on the ham! While the "bread" is in the freezer, mix the pink clay (to be more specific, the Sculpey brand has a blush pink color, that you should use for the ham). with translucent, and this time do not mix it too thoroughly so that it looks like the ham has fatty parts in it! Next, shape it into a ham form and use the brown/black pastels to color the rim of the ham. Now, you can start on the cheese! Take orange, and mix it with a lot of translucent, and roll it out, take your blade and make square cuts for the sandwiches. Then, take green clay and mix it with lots of translucent to make the lettuce. After all that is done, take the bread out of the freezer, and slice 4 pieces of bread. Texture the bread, by using a clay brush tool all over each slice of bread. Now, take a ball-ended tool and add random tiny holes all over the slices. Next, you can add all the different sandwich parts onto the bottom slices. Carefully place the top slice onto the sandwich after your done! (If you want to add condiments such as mayo, or mustard go ahead!). Now, bake at the specified temperature for ten minutes. After that, glaze the ham, cheese, and lettuce! Add the earring posts, and now you have delightfully adorable sandwich earrings! I hope you had as much making this project as I did :D
